Greetings,
Mann Library will be hosting its 4th annual Local Fair @ Cornell on Nov. 15th
from 2-5pm, in collaboration with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins
County, the Small Farms Program and Farmers Market at Cornell. There'll be a
lively and festive open market, offering a rich sampling of food, fiber and
energy products from the Finger Lakes, as well as informative displays on local
and campus efforts to support healthy, resilient communities. In recognition of
the 150th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's signing of the Land-Grant College
Act, we'll be showcasing local innovation and productivity, and
campus-community partnerships as part of this year Local Ideas that Work! theme.

More information on the Fair, including a table registration form can be found
here http://localfair.mannlib.cornell.edu/ . Though space is limited, please
forward freely. Area farmers, craftspeople, vendors and programs supporting
local food, fiber, energy and economies, or cultivating community problem
solving capacity and well-being more broadly are highly encouraged to apply.
