Coordinators are requesting a second group of volunteers to begin an evening search from 5:30pm-9:00pm. Please meet at the Schwartz Center at 4:30pm where a volunteer coordinator will direct carpools to search locations on cayuga lake. Drivers are needed. Be advised that the drive is at least 40 minutes. Volunteers can also join the search directly at two locations at 5:30: West side of Cayuga Lake: Sheldrake Point Road which is located off of Rt 89 12 miles north of Taughannock Falls State Park. Follow road to shoreline. http://goo.gl/maps/nFQRm East side of Cayuga Lake: Milliken Road which is locate off of Rt 34b, Lansing, NY. Follow road to the shoreline.http://goo.gl/maps/iK8Jr Volunteers should wear closed-toe footwear and long pants. Please bring water, snacks, flashlights (very important), and rain gear.
