I can build a simple electronic version of this auto temperature valve (on-off rather than analogue) for under $50 plus a cheap power supply and solenoid valve. The control circuit is very accurate and stable, I currently use them for incubating eggs. No need to get carried away with micro-controllers, programming etc... I plan to use one on my 803 when I get round to putting it all together.
