I am enquiring has any thought been given about gasification of used cooking oil instead of converting to biodiesel. Since cooking oil is a hydrocarbon based product it should produce hydrogen and co2 gas. This would be a much cleaner source of fuel and could be used used to run on petrol engines that has been converted to natural gas or gas turbines.
