I filter my fat down to 5 microns and now have no problems with blocked filters. You need to keep the fat above 30C throughout all the fuel lines and filter. > 2) is the injector pump strong enough to pull the veggie oil (anybody > had any trouble with this?) The injector pump will pull the oil (I don't know how far) but I found that a fuel pump made it a lot easier to bleed the system when you run the fat tank dry. Also the fuel pump provides a bit more pressure to the filter and so gives you longer filter life. > 3) holding tank- has anyone used metal and experienced any > (rust?)problems. I made my tank from mild steel. No rust yet. Avoid galvinised steel as the fatty acids in the fat eat the zinc off and contaminate the fuel. Andrew.
