I'm guessing that 'Yorkshire solder joints' refers to L-shaped solder-on pipe fittings, correct? That would provide nicely angled bends and be easy to do. However, foam tubing insulation would not heat and liquify cold WVO in the fuel line when starting up on a cold day.
