I would add that I hope Rob will stay with us as well, that the discussion does move around between technical as well as other issues, and that the archives and various web sites often mentioned here will be of significant value for to anyone looking for technical information.
It keeps it interesting, having a good mix of all the issues involved, IMHO. Like any group, we can get bogged down on environmental, political - and yes, technical issues at times, but that's what the 'ol delete button is for. You never know when the next gem will pop up.
