Ian, It can't all be soap. You didn't have enough catalyst to do that. How much is salvageable? Chemist showed me a "salting out" trick on a bad batch we made. It saved a few hundred dollars of hemp seed oil from being turned completely into soap. On micro-scale, dissolve 2 tbsp table salt into 1 pint water. Add a cup of your "goo," agitate vigorously, let set 24 hours and see what settles where.
