Hi Gerry, That sounds like you are paying too much for the methanol. I don`t know where you are located, but if you`re near a large city, try the yellow pages under "Chemicals". You should be able to find a supplier that will give you a decent price. Here in Atlanta,Ga. I can buy a 55gal. drum for $2.75 a gallon and that includes delivery, or you can pickup smaller amounts for the same price. Congrats on getting started.
