Hello everyone,

I have just purchased an 1981 Mercedes-Benz 300TD with the intent to run it on
WVO. I see that in the
workshops that are being put on here in California, the "Grease-Car" Kit is
the system of choice. Is this system the hands down
choice for the running of WVO in a Mercedes? After reading through "From
Fryer to Fuel tank" it sounds like
putting together my own kit might be quite intensive. Does anybody have any
experience rigging up their own
system? If so any pointers would be great.

In regards to running biodiesel to start up and shut down the car, would it be
suggested to switch out the rubber hoses in the fuel system
right away or down the road? I seem to find different points of view on this
issue. If so does anybody have
contact information to locate synthetic hoses?

Thanks for any information you can provide.

Ben
