Hey, guys, I'm glad you like this page, thanks so much for saying so.

Successful, well, I guess that remains to be seen, but you're quite
quite right about Ms Midori. No Midori no Journey to Forever, simple
as that, and not much Keith either, I suspect. Midori made our
website. Actually she also started this list - she was the original
Biofuels list owner, then she handed it over to me so she could work
on our Japanese site and a bunch of other things. We're behind each
other, so to speak.

Well, then it's worth it! Thankyou, Roger.

Yes, messy, but I wouldn't judge them from that. I'm not sure if it's
as messy in German, and not all of it's translated. This isn't
translated, for one, and I get the idea it's worth a read (pdf):

Well, there's still going to be some processing of the oil,
especially of wvo, maybe of svo too. But indeed, not while she's
driving! There are some other approaches. The Skeppsta Maskin kit
sold by TŠbyPressen in Sweden has an automatic switching system, but
this kit seems to require a lot of electric power (for glowplugs, not
for the switch):

"When the diesel-engine get warm. then it automatic ( thermostat and
relay) put on the electric -valve to turn on to Straight Vegetable
Oil... When you have work end of the day, you turns off the engine.
The engine stop, and Automatic the electric-valve turn on to
diesel-oil about 30 sec and the rape-oil in the injection-pump
change to diesel-oil by electric pump and a timer. It is a very short
way between the valve and the injection-pump.Then all shut off."

That should be a lot easier than a chip. Personally I'd keep it
simple, switch and a temp gauge maybe, I'm sure you'd soon get used
to it. Or you could do the Elsbett thing and convert the motor, not
just the fuel system. No WVO though.

Regards

Keith
