A 3% vortex tube driving a 20% stirling engine= 0.6% then you subtract
losses.
I think you have a negative number

It sounds inefficient- the energy produced by a Stirling engine run
using a vortex tube would be less than the energy needed to compress
the air to run the vortex tube in the first place.  Wouldn't it?
