New food grade oil is normally very clean and free of water. If traveling
and I run out of WVO, I just stop and buy largest containers of new SVO
Canola oil I can find, pour in and go, no pre-filtering. Very clean out of
the jug. I have been told that new cold pressed oils will settle out to 5
microns by gravity alone. (WVO won't gravity settle that fine, AFAIK).
