Hello, I joined this group after two years of studying biodiesel. Until now I have been involved mostly in high efficiency production of H2/O2 and solar thermal energy production. I am currently designing a microprocessor based biodiesel fuel production system for volumes of 55 gallons per batch. I intend on using a solar trough to provide the heat for the stainless boilers.
I am offering my services to anyone who wants help with the electronics portion of fuel processors for automation. These services are free to anyone actively working on these technologies. It is my goal to help further any form renewable energy as it is my belief that it is time for us to stop burning fossil fuels. The technology has been available to warrant clean technologies for many years now, I would like to see it implemented. I would also like to help push technology forward so that fuel companies who already make biodiesel will no longer be able to claim that biodiesel costs more to produce than hydrocarbon based products. It has been my own research that has shown biodiesel fuel costs can be half or less than that of normal diesel even if the vegetable oil has to be purchased. I fear that these companies who are claiming these high costs of production will eventually sway the public away from using biodiesel versus hydrocarbon based diesel fuels simply because of cost.
