Explanation of "useful confusion": It is an expression that I use when somebody does you the favor to come with strong arguments, that make you think harder and work more on the subject. Sometimes it result in that I have to agree on that I was wrong and that is very useful or I have to make my arguments better and that is also very useful. It might be a very personal expression that I developed with time and difficult to understand. But for me it is generally a compliment or and expression of appreciation when I say it.
