Yes. Part of the short-sightedness is a lack of connection. They're blinkered by their pollings and profilings and averagings, and prejudices, and haven't a clue what people are about or what they're really up to. I think we recently saw a lesser example of that here in Big Biodiesel's hopelessly flawed view of homebrewers.
