Brent,

It is possible that the droplets you describe are unconverted fats that have
solidified with cooling. They cannot be water, as water would mix with the
alcohol/glycerol/soap layer.

If they are solidified fats, you may have an incomplete reaction and
possible problems with emulsification in your wash.

It would be advisable to draw off one-half liter from the biodiesel layer
and run it through the process a second time to see if any  more glycerin
drops.

Also, you may wish to take only 100 mililiters or so and do a sample wash (a
light swirl) for a few seconds to see how the fuel responds. Heavy
emulsification is an indicator of an incomplete reaction and gives cause to
reprocess the remaining fuel.
