A day-long workshop in plug-in hybrids costing, apparently $150. Hosted by
calcars.org?

It does look relevant to some of the discussions we've been having in the
various groups about the pros and cons of hybrids and perhaps some will wish to
attend this workshop. I have always thought that Plug-In hybrids, operable in
EV-only mode, were a key to building a "gateway" for consumers to have more
refueling options and to building their demand for pure EVs. I think they're
particularly a good thing if the ICE part of the car can be refueled with a
renewable fuel (even if at first a non-renewable is used when the car rolls off
the lot).
