A "complete solution" is going to require more than a wash tank. But Sean Davis' stand-pipe system has a few benefits. One is that it's inexpensive and another is that you never need to be worried about emulsion clinging to the sides of the container at a level above the standpipe intake. That makes for a clean take-off after the last wash. http://www.veggieavenger.com/avengerboard/viewtopic.php?t=332&view=previous&sid=a09397e0e325291fa2943e830a4151a0 There will be some water contamination inside the standpipe, meaning that the first few seconds of the fuel take-off will have to be separated from the balance that follows. Don't know how well a shroud over the intake would prevent the majority of that. But it would be worth a try just to keep any emulsion from building up inside the take-tube. Taking fuel off the top after the last wash is a preferred method to reduce contamination of the fuel as it goes into a "drying" stage.
