Sounds too good to be true... anyone out there making their own KOH from ash?
Why can't we use soft woods? What about a little? What are some municipal sources of ash/feedstock for this process (I would not want to burn hardwood scraps and put more carbon in the atmosphere if I could find a connection to ash directly).
