Does anyone recall a old post (about 2-3 months ago) about someone taking an older VW rabbit or some other VW and taking out the torque converter (or the clutch) and replacing it with an electric motor. The idea was a do it yourself hybrid vehicle. I Think it was a cross post from another group. Also, if my memory serves me correct, I think it was someone over in Europe who was attempting this. Any direction or info on this idea would be much appreciated. Thanks.
