Darryl and Todd, what you both seem to be missing is that a
corporation,
can't by its very nature, pay taxes - all it can do is to collect them from
its customers and pass them along to the government.
When government artificially raises the cost of doing business, that
cost
is just passed on. The bottom-line reality is that all across-the-board
expenses associated with any industry are born by the customer. Populous
smoke and mirrors aside, all a tax on corporate income adds up to is a
regressive tax on their customers.
