when a catalytic converter has been coated with sulfur or lead
and thus rendered useless is it possible to externally heat the
catalytic converters toconvert the element to it's gaseous
form and thus rejuvenate the catalytic converter? i understand
that with lead we are talking over 3000* F, but with sulfur
the most lie=kely contaminant less than 1000*F. i could
do that with a torch fairly painlessly. i have a cool '90
MB that won't pass emissions...i think because of bad
converters (it has two in line). replacing that section
of exhaust pipe with 2 converters is $1000 just for the
pipe. be well, Ross

The difficult situation that the US is in can not be solved by waging
more wars. The violence done in our name generates more violence
and hatred against us. The solution arises from changing our attitudes
about other people. We need to stop the theft of their resources and
labor and begin to treat them with respect and dignity. RossCannon
