I'm looking to purchase a new(or newer Jeep) in the near future. I've seen that Jeep is now coming out with a new diesel version of the Liberty. My co-worker said that diesel car produce more pollution then regular gasoline vechiles. I thought it was opposite, which is true? Also, I live in an urban area and would like to eventually wean off gas and into biodiesel. Are biodiesel sources in urban areas (particularly in the DC metro area) readily available?
