it to be clear after a day of settling but before wash, I have produced two batches now (one using the two stage and one using the pelly recipe with some minor modifications from the infopop list archives) and both are sort of honey yellow and opaque from cloudiness, I thought that meant that my reaction was incomplete on the first batch so I simply left in on the shelf and tried again but I got the same results so I am thinking that the clear results should come after washing.
