hello, back in the heyday of alcohol fuel in the seventies and early eighties, here in the U.S.A. there was a lot of work done on" Diesahol" with a good bit of success.. the system was designed to inject alcohol into the diesel engine through the turbocharger. semi tractors using this system reported excellent results,. incerases in power and mileage. and it was said that there were no modifications needed and the diesel engine didnt even know this was being injected into it. however like so many other advances advocated in those golden daysof alternative energy. it seems that this technology fell into obscurity and ive heard nothing more since.ill look into my files and see if i can dig up more about this.
