I'm new to the list, and very serious about getting a processor together as soon as I've managed to get good at making small batches.
Diesel is $2.75 a gallon here, so making it at 70 cents is tremendously appealing, and I'm very much dependent upon my beloved 96 Dodge 2500 Cummins 4x4, Hank the Tank for his heavy lifting capability which my business depends upon. A couple questions: It would seem to me that the very best material for the tanks in a BD processor would be stainless steel, right? Where might one order a Ph meter? Does anyone have connections for the necessary chemicals in northern CA? I read one method of making BD that uses sulphuric acid, and I'm pretty sure I can't get that at Walmart, is it necessary to use this evil stuff? thanx!
