Im new to this also. 

I joined in the hope of finding out more about converting my daihatsu fourtrak 
2.8 litre turbo diesil engine to run on wvo (using a 2 tank system with heated 
wvo input). I have been advised against this by the mechanic who services it 
but I dont really think he has any knowledge of it. 

I wonder if anyone can point me to someone who has experience with this 
particular engine. I am concerned in particular about any damage to the fuel 
pump from using the higher viscocity and also any possible engine damage caused 
by the fuel burning differently. I have looked at the pump but cannot determine 
which type (lucus etc) it is.
