Hi all, Still gathering my parts for my processor. I found a 1 inch clear water pump that I'm going to use only for transferring the oil. I don't know if anyone has a Habitat for Humanity store near them but, they always have a bunch of motors and pumps at the one near me.
Unfortunately, I can't find any used TEFC motors. I've resigned to buying a new TEFC motor for my stir processor. I'm going to be using a 55 gallon drum as my reactor. Looking at some of Todd Swearingen's diagrams and others, I think I should be able to get away with a 1/4 HP motor. A 1/3 HP motor is available locally but, I don't want to waste any energy or money. Anyone have any guidelines on motor sizes based on processing capacity? Take care, Ken _______________________________________________ Biofuel mailing list Biofuel@sustainablelists.org http://sustainablelists.org/mailman/listinfo/biofuel_sustainablelists.org Biofuel at Journey to Forever: http://journeytoforever.org/biofuel.html Search the combined Biofuel and Biofuels-biz list archives (50,000 messages): http://www.mail-archive.com/biofuel@sustainablelists.org/
