Was not sure why one would pay a high price for a virgin oil until I found that special soaps needed different grades of oils. Some specialty market soaps require high grade oils and other contents to reach niche markets. Could this be the case with this oil?
Here the last lot of Jatropha seeds sold for $0.50 a kilo, does not make for good economics for fuel alone but does make full sense taken into account, soap, fuels, feeds and all byproducts that can be gained from the seed and husks.
