The very hihg yield of this palnt is due to shorter life cucle , making possible the three harvest , it is the plant which has storage like swwet potato , but root is mall, the flower is sunflower , the stem is like sorgum.
In 1985 , we conducted studies about how this plant grow in semiarid place in the north east place , joint research effort combined wut USA unversity.
Very good results have been obtained , as this plant adopt very well to the hot climate too , but need water for irrigation.
The inuline is soluble in hot water , ca be easily hydrolysed into fructose .
The yeast which can do this and ferment it into alcohol is Klyveramyces Fragil .This the yeat have hiher value as food yeast , not the low value feed yeast.
Thus the cooproduct can make this plant more economical for biofuel Etanol.

when referring to the harvest of jerusalem artichoke heads do you mean
the tuber roots or the flowers? because 1200 gallons an acre is pretty
damn good by my book. an acre is the size of my parents front yard, and
they dont use that much of it....
