That article doesn't address the need to reduce global energy usage. There is no way we could continue using energy to the same extent we do. Peak Oil will see to that.
Appropriating biomass and agricultural products as the article suggests is not realistic unless we address the pwerdown requirements. Furthermore, it looks like another attempt to perpetuate some big business interests. This is not the way forward IMO. Life in the future will be sustainable whether we like it or not.
