Off the top of my head, I would say that rbST is part of a process of substituting cultivated grains for perennial forages in milk production, something which is not a good idea, especially looking at a declining supply of fossil fuels and mined fertilizers.
Not to mention increasing the production and spread of E. coli and especially its more virulent forms.
