On July 2 and 3, the full-scale replica of a 19th Century canal schooner, the Lois McClure from the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum, stopped in Ithaca in its 1000 mile, 100 day journey across NY State via the Erie Canal (Cayuga Lake and Seneca Lake being part of the system).
