Hi all: The Aug 6,07 issue of the New Yorker has an article about the Colony Collapse Disorder that has affected thousands of hives throughout the US & Canada. It is a well written & reasoned analysis of what happened and the probable cause: a virus, similar in its impact as AIDS. The collapse is a crisis but without alternative solutions, especially considering pollination needs of farmers. There must be other articles out there. If you've come across any, please forward through the list. Thanks, Tony Del Plato Ithaca NY
