feel free to forward to others
Home Green Home and Cinemapolis have teamed up to promote Leonardo
DiCaprio's informative and inspiring movie, The 11th Hour.
Shows at 7:15 and 9:35 every day, with matinées Saturday and Sunday at
2:15 and 4:35.
There are many good reasons to see (or re-see) this movie:
--Receive $8 off your next purchase of $10 or more at Home Green Home
(a new store selling Earth- and people-friendly products at 215 The
Commons).
--See gorgeous full-screen images of our beautiful planet, while
learning more about the ways people (mostly via corporations) are
throwing key ecosystems out of balance.
--Hear scientists and policy experts discuss practical solutions our
communities, governments and corporations can take to reduce
pollution, slow the release of heat-trapping gases, and restore
balance to ecosystems in all their fantastic fragility.
--Show our thanks to Cinemapolis, which has been showing the film as a
public service.
--Before and after the movie, pick-up handouts from the Climate Change
Action Group's literature table. Their brochure shows simple steps you
can take to slow global warming, and a variety of FREE reprints give
background on global warming and on pending legislation to reduce the
release of heat-trapping gases.
