SewGreen is hosting two free "Sew & Tell" sustainable sewing cafes at Home Green Home, near the Aurora Street end of the Ithaca Commons, 6 - 8 pm, on two successive Thursdays, Nov. 8 and 15.
You are invited to meet others who enjoy sewing and needlecraft activities that feature reuse, refashioning, repurposing, and/or use of earth-friendly materials. Bring a project to show and explain, or just come to learn and see what others are doing. The cafe will be an opportunity to trade ideas and tips about sewing and creative refashioning as a self-reliant, sustainable skill, and to learn more about SewGreen.
