Energy Assistance Programs at HSC Forum Tomorrow, Dec. 12th
A Reminder: The Human Services Coalition Forum will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, December 12th, from? 8:45 -10:15AM at Cornell Cooperative Extension, 615 Willow Ave., Ithaca. This meeting will focus on energy assistance programs available to residents of Tompkins County. Participating agencies include the American Red Cross, Tompkins County; Better Housing for Tompkins County; Tompkins Community Action; Tompkins County Office for the Aging (COFA); the Department of Social Services, Tompkins County; Ithaca Neighborhood Housing Services; Catholic Charities, Samaritan Center; and Cornell Cooperative Extension. An updated Energy Assistance Programs Chart (formerly compiled by the Heating Solutions group) will be available for distribution. Those in attendance will also have the opportunity to announce coming events and share items of interest to the local human service community, in particular seasonal events and programs.? The hot-off-the-presses guide to meeting spaces throughout the county, compiled by the Human Services Coalition, will be available (at no charge) to Forum attendees. The Human Services Coalition, acting in its role as the umbrella agency for local health and human service providers and planners, sponsors this monthly forum to provide the opportunity for an open exchange of ideas and information.
