I've always gotten bulk tableware/silverware for reuse at large gatherings through the Student Reuse Project at Cornell University, where at the end of the school year tons of no-longer-needed student furnishings and household items in good condition were sold for a fraction of the cost of new. But I just did a search of the Cornell site, and it looks like nobody has continued the project this year. I also don't know of a similar program at Ithaca College. The national "Dump & Run" project, which was in Ithaca a few years ago doing the same thing, seems to be no longer extant. Does anyone know if either of Ithaca's campuses is doing something like this for 2008 and beyond? Maura Stephens
