Dear Members of the sustainability community,

Every so often an opportunity comes along that helps advance your
organizations name and mission in a unique and noteworthy way. By
participating as an exhibitor in the *Gorges Green Expo* at Ithaca Festival,
we are confident that this will be such occasion as there is no greater
venue in the region to demonstrate your innovative sustainable solutions to
this eco-savvy, diverse and far-reaching community.

Our dedication to being a "green" festival will be on full display in 2008.
In addition to printing our 100% organic cotton T's with soy-based inks,
offering 100% organic hemp totes for shopping, recycling and composting our
waste, offsetting our carbon footprint with a massive tree planting
initiative, and gaining power from the sun, we have held in reserve 30+
exhibitor spaces for eco-orgs on the Commons to provide a central location
and plenty of foot traffic for the Expo throughout the weekend.

In short, the Gorges Green Expo will be a major presence at Ithaca
Festival. Thanks to our teams' focus on offering eco-education as a part of
our expanding cultural program, your earth-friendly organization has the
opportunity to stand out and be seen. Now is the time to sign up! We are
asking that a nominal *$50.00 booth reservation fee* be submitted per 10'
space by *May 1, 2008*. Tables and chairs are included.

Please fill out our Gorges Green Expo NGO exhibitor
application<http://ithacafestival.typepad.com/GGENPOEXHIBITOR08.pdf>to
secure your place at this great event. Notice that there is also
opportunity to register time for demos and presentations on our speakers'
stage.

As you know, Ithaca Festival has produced an internationally recognized
showcase of art, music, and "Ithaculture" for the past 30 years that
regularly attracts 40,000 visitors to our city center and stunning
lakefront. We feel that our 2008 event will see additional growth as solid
buzz is already circulating throughout the City and greater region. So,
let's all step it up and showcase the best of Ithaca, NY!

This year, our revamped four-day program offers an impressive palate of
regional music, local food, citizen outreach, and all-around family fun sure
to please a wide variety of interests. We are particularly excited about
new and improved festival components sure to draw enthusiastic audiences,
such as:

   - The *Taste of Tompkins* "localvore" culinary presentation
   - The* Gorges Green Expo* of sustainable living* *
   - A play-safe *Family Fun Zone*
   - The* Crafts Fair *and a *Fine Arts District*
   - Top-tier *Live Music *and* Performing Arts*
   - The legendary festival *Parade *(now including a 1 Mile road race
   and critical mass bike ride!)

We look forward to building a relationship with you that successfully
enhances our community through creativity, imagination and positive
self-expression. Together, we can continue to make a difference in Ithaca
and beyond. If you have any further questions about the GGE experience, I
am at your service.

Thank you, again!
