 "THE 11th HOUR"

What: Free film about global warming, and what we can do about it
When: This Fri., Aug 8 (7:00 pm)
Where: Trumansburg Fire Hall, Rte 96/W. Main St.*

This 2007 documentary, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and directed by Nadia
Conners, explores the global environmental crisis and paints a portrait of a
planet at risk while also offering some exciting and radical solutions for
making life on earth sustainable. Tapping the brains of leading scientists and
thinkers -- including Stephen Hawking and Mikhail Gorbachev -- the film
ultimately delivers a hopeful message: Our planet may be in crisis, but that
doesn't mean it's too late change.

All events are free and open to all. Donations are gratefully accepted, as Back
To Democracy is run solely by a small group of volunteer activists.

Handicapped accessible. Free parking available in the adjacent lot, as well as
along Rte 96, but please do not block the fire bays in front or back of the
building.

Directions from Ithaca:
Estimate about 10 minutes driving time. Take Rte 96 north, which becomes "Main
St." in Trumansburg Village. Just past the center of the village and the P.O.,
Rte 96/Main St bends to the right; you'll pass the junction of Rtes 96 & 227 on
your left, and a small park on your right. The next building on your RIGHT is
the Fire Hall.
