to answer Joey's question, I would have to think about it some but one near the top of my list would be that each one of us should know how many years or how many unspoiled acres nature needed to produce that gas we just burnt, that water we just drank, that air we just breathed. Our "footprint" extends far beyond the area we typically pay real estate tax for...but it also extends in time far into the past and far in to the future.
