The Town of Ithaca Conservation Board is seeking a new member. The Board advises the Town Board and Planning Board on matters of environmental conservation and protection and reviews development proposals that may affect open space or pose other environmental concerns. Applicants must be Town residents and be interested in playing an active role in the Town's planning and advisory process as it relates to environmental concerns. The Board usually meets the evening of the first Thursday of every month. Members occasionally meet for site visits and contribute to a particular Conservation Board project by working on a subcommittee.
