Dear Friends--If you haven't visited the Ithaca Sound Maze you are in for a
real treat. Christianne and Walter White have created a wonderful
experience for people of all ages. The setting is remarkably
beautiful. It's hard believe that you are only a couple of minutes outside
of Ithaca. And if you are musically inclined you will be fascinated by the
array of instruments the Whites and friends have created and the incredible
range of sounds they generate. Or just the experience of the maze itself
is well worth the trip. The Ithaca Sound Maze is open for two more
weekends. For more information see http://www.ithacasoundmaze.com/ .

As we head in to a time of increasing instability in the economy and the
pending energy descent we need to develop means to find fun and enjoyment
at the local level. When Dollywood and Darien Lake are no longer
accessible to many folks, finding affordable local entertainment will be
come increasingly important for the well being of our population. For
hundreds or even thousands of years communities created their own
amusements with the arts, theater and fairs. The Ithaca Sound Maze offers
us this local, sustainable family entertainment with a low carbon foot
print--no long car ride or jet plane trip required. Enjoy! Tom
