<Please Forward> *Have a bright idea to reduce Cornell’s carbon footprint?* Only 2 weeks left! The Idea Exchange is still open for business through December 1st
Bright ideas: Faculty, students and staff at Cornell, and the Ithaca community, have an opportunity to provide good ideas that can help reduce Cornell’s carbon emissions. No idea is too big or small to be entered in the Climate Action Plan Idea Exchange website. The Idea Exchange will collect these ideas through Dec. 1, 2008. The Idea Exchange Web site: http://www.sustainablecampus.cornell.edu/cap/PCCIC/yourideas.htm The ideas will be collected and grouped into major themes such as green development, energy conservation, biofuels and renewable energy, alternative transportation, carbon offsets and policy. Teams of Cornell staff, faculty, and students have been formed around each of these themes to bring expertise and experience to the effort. With financial support from NYSERDA, Cornell hired a partnership of consultants including Affiliated Engineers Inc., Energy Strategies Inc, and Martin/Alexiou/Bryson, PLLC to help Cornell sort the best ideas and arrange them into a viable plan.
