Thanks Jon! That question was on my list too. Unfortunately it is just oneof 
many, many changes that are needed in the City Code to encourage anythingclose 
to sustainability.The Town of Ithaca zoning can also use some reform.  While 
chickens, ducksand other domestic animals are permitted in the Moderate Density 
Residentialzones where most people live, you would need a minimum of two acres 
and aSpecial Permit.  That pretty much precludes the oppotunity.They are 
prohibited in the High Density Residential and in Multi-FamilyResidential
