Hi, Amanda. Do you mean food scraps to be composted or actual
finished compost? I see that you are ithaca.edu. If you are an IC
student and you want to get ride of food scraps without wasting them,
perhaps you can take your scraps to one of the blue food scrap bins
at one of the kitchens at IC. IC food scraps go to Cayuga Compost
via the big blue bins. GreenStar has blue bins and sometimes they
allow people to place food scraps in their blue bins. Please ask
first in either situation. Are you downtown? If so, I operate a
neighborhood compost and you could also bring your food scraps to my
compost bins. Or do you have a neighbor that is a gardener and would
like the food scraps for their compost pile? There are lots of
options. Have a great day. Tom
