Upcoming Free Events at Historic Ithaca's Significant Elements

Tomorrow, January 16,  is Free Friday once again, with a large quantity of
overstocked goods available on a first come, first serve basis.  

 


Free Friday is always the 3rd Friday of the month

 

Everyone is invited-especially landlords, contractors and designers planning
repairs and upgrades; students looking for inexpensive furnishings for
apartments, craftspeople, hobbyists and artists needing supplies; collectors
looking for that rare and unique architectural antique; homeowners restoring
a home or just looking for a change. There are thousands of items in our
store and all are available at a great price for every type of project.

 

Significant Elements is a non-profit program of Historic Ithaca and sale
proceeds help fund our mission to preserve and sustain the legacy of the
built environment in Tompkins County and the Finger Lakes Region. 

 

 

Free Class Saturday, January 24: The Greek Revival Home

Beginning at 11 am and repeating at 2 pm

 

Greek Revival buildings are prolific in the Finger Lakes area.  In this
30-minute class, you'll learn about the origins of this uniquely American
style and see local examples.  Discussion will follow-bring a photo of your
Greek Revival house and share your stories of restoration and rejuvenation!

 

Class participants receive 20% off any item in the store on the day of the
class
