Primitive Pursuits, a wilderness skills program of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County, will hold the 8th Annual Primitive Pursuits Day & Sustainability Festival on Saturday, May 16 from 10:00am-4:00 pm at 4-H Acres, 418 Lower Creek Rd off Route 13 North in Ithaca.

Wilderness skills instructors from across Central N.Y. will conduct free survival skills workshops and demonstrations, with live music by local bands The Urban Horse Thieves, Who you are, Nate Silas Richardson and The O'Shanigans. Wilderness skill instructors include: Hawk Circle, Wilderness Way, Earth Arts, Linda Spielman, Ithaca College Environmental Studies, Hearthstone Center for Earth Essentials, Thunderbird atl-atl, and Primitive Pursuits.
