“Who's Putting the 'Ability' in Sustainability?”
Join us this Thursday for free light lunch and celebrate a spirit of
sustainability.
12-1pm in Sage Chapel.
This weeks final lunch-time talk is by
Tim Fahey, the Liberty Hyde Bailey Professor of Natural Resources, and
Kyu Whang, vice president for Facilities Services
The talk will focus on sustainability research and education and
building a sustainable campus community.
NOTE: The audio tapes of the sustainability lecture series are going to
be broadcast on WHCU 870AM on Sunday mornings at 7 a.m. That hour is
programmed as the "Sage Chapel Hour"

The overall series, “A Spirit of Sustainability: Why We Care about
Climate Neutrality,” focuses attention on the people behind Cornell’s
Climate Action Plan (CAP), their inspirations and motivations and the
university’s efforts to achieve carbon neutrality in the years ahead.
Food and music will be available from noon. At 12:15 p.m., event
moderator Dan Roth will introduce the week’s featured speakers for a 15-
20 minute presentation followed by a question-and-answer period.
